MVMF: Midtvest Maker Fest
Developing a Regional Infrastructure of Connected Makerspaces with Digital Craftsman in Mid-West Denmark
The Midtvest Maker Fest (MVMF) is an event that brings together makerspaces, innovation centers, workshops and a regional community of makers connecting them with local industry and institutions.
As a three-day event at Aarhus University in Herning, MVMF will gather makers, students, local companies, entrepreneurs and tool makers for building, connecting and enhancing craftsmanship with new digital tools like 3D printers, laser cutters and open source hardware and software technologies.
The festival has an open call for the region’s craftspeople to participate in the “MidtVest Maker challenge”.Winners will receive an award and an invite to collaborate on building and developing connected maker spaces in the region with BTECH labs at Aarhus university in Herning Denmark.
